This is an introductory statistical computing course based on the R programming language. Topics covered include data cleaning, visualization, basics of programming in R, and basics of statistical modeling. Introduction to Statistical Computing
Stats 250 is a one-term, algebra-based introductory statistics course that introduces students to the investigative process of statistics so they may become critical consumers of statistics. Students will learn to summarize data both graphically and numerically and to use their understanding of variability to make inference from a sample to the population.
